This is a photo I took a while ago while walking my dogs. I’m not sure why I took it in the first place, but I for some reason wanted to capture the view. When I was scrolling through my photos I came across this and it sort of spoke to me as my view on leadership.

After thinking about it and digging into why I felt this was representative of what leadership is to me and my journey, there are a few reasons I wanted to add this to my website.

1. It’s my path – this is the path I’ve chosen to travel, it’s not perfect, it’s covered in gravel and there are places that will trip me up if I’m not careful.
2. To the left is open and green, to the right is a simple fence – there’s freedom on one side to be me, but there’s the guiding line to help me find the path if I go too far.
3. The sun is hiding where the path goes – I’m not sure where this will lead me, but following the sun I feel like I’m being led by the Creator to my future.
